Return & Refund Policy

Every Haus of Dissent piece is produced on demand—no dead stock, no waste, no mass-retail logic. Our production model is intentional, so our returns policy follows the same principle. Please read carefully before ordering.

 

1. Order Issues & Manufacturing Defects

If something arrives misprinted, damaged, or clearly defective, we’ll correct it. Quality is one of our non-negotiable KPIs, and defects fall outside our standards for intentional creation.

To report an issue:

  • Contact us within 5 days of receiving your order.
  • Email support@hausofdissent.com with:
    • Your order number
    • Clear photos of the product and the issue
    • A short description of what happened

If the issue is confirmed as a production or printing defect, you can choose:

  • A free replacement, or
  • A full refund, at no additional cost

Items damaged through wear and tear, improper care, or use beyond normal conditions aren’t eligible for review.


2. Returns, Exchanges & Sizing Accuracy

Every item is produced specifically for your order—made only when you ask for it. This on-demand model minimizes waste but also means we cannot accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind
  • Ordering the wrong size

To avoid sizing issues:

  • Review the detailed size charts on each product page.
  • When in doubt, measure a garment you own and compare.

If you need a different size after receiving your item, you’re welcome to place a new order at your own expense.


3. Lost, Delayed, or Undelivered Orders

We rely on global carriers to deliver each piece from our production partners to your door. Occasionally, logistics fall out of tempo.

If tracking shows your order as delivered but you haven’t received it:

  • Check with neighbors or household members
  • Contact the carrier to initiate a claim

We are not responsible for:

  • Packages marked as delivered but not received
  • Orders lost due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout

Please double-check your shipping details before submitting your order.
If an item is returned to sender due to an incorrect address or being unclaimed, reshipment (when possible) may incur additional shipping costs.

If tracking shows no movement for an extended period:
Reach out—our team will review the case with our fulfillment partner.


4. EU Consumer Rights

Because each piece is made to order and customized during production, our products fall under Article 16(c) and (e) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

This means the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply.
We frame this not as a limitation, but as part of our sustainability ethos: producing only what’s needed, when it’s needed.
