About Haus of Dissent

Who are you?

Haus of Dissent is a Europe-based wardrobe label built around a single idea: the garment stays constant, the wearer modulates. Haus by day. Dissent by night. We design for people who move between worlds without changing character.

What does "Haus of Dissent" mean?

Haus is the structure: the studio, the system, the thing you return to. Dissent is what happens after hours. The name is the brief: hold both, don't pick one.

Who is this for?

People who run the meeting and then run to the club. Architects, product leads, creative directors, consultants – anyone whose Monday and Saturday look like different lives but who refuses to dress for only one of them.

Is this a statement brand?

No. Logos this size don't need translation. If the piece speaks, it speaks to the person standing next to you at the bar, not the room.

Products & Quality

What do you make?

A lean range, on purpose:

  • Organic cotton t-shirts (regular fit and oversized)
  • All-over print t-shirts (polyester)
  • All-over print button-up shirts
  • Caps (Trucker and Baseball caps)

We'd rather do five things well than fifty things adequately.

What's the difference between Haus Editions and Haus Wardrobe?

Haus Wardrobe is the foundation: the pieces you'll wear until they're threadbare. Haus Editions is where the prints live – each one is a chapter, not a product.

What's the fit like?

Each product page carries full measurements and a fit note. As a rule: our regular cotton runs true to size in the European cut. The oversized cotton is genuinely oversized. Size down if you want a cleaner line. The all-over print shirts run relaxed.

What are they printed with?

Cotton pieces use DTG (direct-to-garment) printing: soft hand, prints that move with the fabric. All-over prints are sublimated onto polyester, which bonds the ink into the fiber rather than sitting on top. Both are designed to outlast the trend cycle they'll briefly reference.

How should I care for them?

Inside out, cold wash, hang dry. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no iron directly on the print. Treat them like the pieces you actually care about, because they are.

Sustainability & Production

How are pieces made?

Print-on-demand. Every garment is produced after you order it. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to be discounted, donated, or destroyed – because nothing was made speculatively in the first place.

Why POD?

The fashion industry's core waste problem is overproduction. POD isn't a complete answer: the blanks still have a footprint, shipping has a footprint. But it removes the single largest source of waste from our operation. For a launching brand, this is the most honest model we can run.

What about the materials?

Cotton pieces are organic cotton blanks sourced through our production partners, with certifications disclosed on each product page. All-over print pieces are recycled polyester where available. We'll say what things are, and we won't say what they aren't.

Are you carbon neutral / climate positive / [insert your activism here]?

No, and we'd rather say that clearly than buy a sticker. The most useful thing we can do right now is make pieces that last long enough not to be replaced. That's what we're optimizing for.

Orders & Support

How do I place an order?

Add to cart, check out. You'll receive an order confirmation immediately and a production update within 24–72 hours.

Can I change or cancel my order?

No. Once placed, your order goes straight into production. This is the nature of made-to-order: the piece starts being made for you immediately, and we can't pull it back.

Double-check your size and shipping address before you confirm. If something looks wrong the moment after you order, contact us at support@hausofdissent.com as fast as possible. We can't guarantee anything, but we'll do what we can.

I ordered the wrong size.

Every order goes straight into production. We cannot make changes or corrections once it's placed. Please review the size charts carefully before confirming your order.

If you've just placed your order and spotted the mistake immediately, you can try reaching us at support@hausofdissent.com – but we cannot guarantee anything.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship?

EU-only at launch. Global expansion is on the roadmap. We're building out regional fulfillment partners rather than shipping everything from a single origin, so the next phases will feel local wherever they launch.

How long does it take?

Production: 2–5 business days. Shipping within the EU: 3–7 business days after production.

Door-to-door, plan for 1–2 weeks.

How much is shipping?

Free across the EU – no minimum order, no hidden handling fees folded into the product price. What you see is what you pay.

We currently ship within the EU only. Global expansion is on the roadmap: get on the newsletter and you'll hear before the storefront does.

Will I be charged customs?

EU orders: no.

When we expand beyond the EU, our intention is to build around regional fulfillment: local production, local delivery, no customs surprises. We'll confirm how it works market by market as we launch.

Returns & Exchanges

Return and refund policy

Every Haus of Dissent piece is produced on demand. No dead stock, no waste, no mass-retail logic. Our returns policy follows the same principle. Please read it before ordering.

What if my piece arrives damaged or defective? If something arrives misprinted, damaged, or clearly defective, we'll correct it. Quality is one of our non-negotiable KPIs.

Contact us within 5 days of receiving your order at support@hausofdissent.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the product and the issue
  • A short description of what happened

If confirmed as a production or printing defect, you choose: a free replacement, or a full refund. No additional cost either way.

Items damaged through wear, improper care, or use beyond normal conditions aren't eligible.

Can I return or exchange a piece because it doesn't fit, or I changed my mind?

No – and we'd rather say that clearly up front than bury it.

Every item is produced specifically for your order, made only when you ask for it. This on-demand model minimizes waste, but it also means we can't accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or wrong size.

To avoid sizing issues:

  • Review the detailed size charts on each product page.
  • When in doubt, measure a garment you already own and love, and compare.

If you need a different size after receiving your piece, you're welcome to place a new order at your own expense.

What about the standard EU 14-day right of withdrawal?

Because each piece is made to order and customized during production, our products fall under Article 16(c) and (e) of Directive 2011/83/EU. The standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply.

We don't frame this as a limitation. It's part of the ethos: producing only what's needed, when it's needed.

My tracking says delivered, but I haven't received anything.

We rely on global carriers between our production partners and your door, and occasionally logistics fall out of tempo.

First steps:

  • Check with neighbors or household members
  • Contact the carrier to initiate a claim

We're not responsible for packages marked as delivered but not received, or for orders lost due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout. Double-check your shipping details before submitting.

If tracking shows no movement for an extended period, reach out – we'll review the case with our fulfillment partner.

What if my package is returned to sender?

If an item is returned due to an incorrect address or going unclaimed, reshipment (when possible) may incur additional shipping costs.

Will there be a membership or community program?

In time. We're building the wardrobe first. Anything community-facing will be built for people already wearing the pieces, not as a funnel to sell them.
